LATIN AMERICA GRI SUMMIT 2026
Martin Jasper co-chaired the “The Office 2026: How Is It Driving Strategic Conversion, Revaluation, and New Urban Capital Decisions?”. A discussion at the Latin America GRI Real Estate Summit in New York, a closed-door session bringing together senior investors, developers, and operators from across the region to debate one of real estate's most pressing questions: what do you actually do with office?
The conversation covered when office still makes sense as a capital allocation, and when conversion, repositioning, or divestment is the smarter call. Location, structural viability, costs, and shifting demand shaped the debate. Alongside broader questions about how urban integration and mixed-use dynamics influence the long-term resilience of assets across Latin American markets.
Martin contributed from a design perspective, on the role of architecture in asset reconversion, and how early design decisions often determine whether a building truly recovers or simply survives.
New York, with its own ongoing conversation between legacy stock and new typologies, was a fitting place to have it.
