PROJECT LAUNCH: RENEW RUHRTURM ESSEN
We are thrilled to share that JASPER ARCHITECTS has been commissioned by P-Touch Group to lead the transformation of the Ruhrturm in Essen. The project marks the official launch of a comprehensive adaptive re-use initiative encompassing approximately 60,000 square meters GFA.
The redevelopment addresses one of the defining architectural challenges of our time: a strategic redesign of existing structures to meet contemporary urban demands. The project reimagines the potential of this 70's office complex through a fundamental programmatic transformation and a modernization of the envelope, evolving into a mixed-used destination.
Through the consolidation of diverse functions, the project aims to establish a dynamic urban center that reassures its connection to the surroundings while upgrading the buildings identity and its performance.
Design development is currently underway, with further updates to follow as the project progresses.
