NEW PROJECT: RENEW RUHRTURM ESSEN
Our new project Renew Ruhrturm Essen is transforming one of the city's most iconic landmarks into an attractive multi-purpose city hub.
Together with P-Touch Group, our intervention aims to reconnect the tower with the city, responding to the evolution of the urban landscape. At this scale, Renew Ruhrturm is among the largest interventions the Ruhr region has seen. The 60,000 m² complex is set to be transformed into a mixed-use destination.
This June, the team travelled to Essen for two days of intensive site work, bringing together all project stakeholders while also focusing on detailed site documentation, technical analysis, and conversations shaping the project.
From the distinctive facade system to the original construction drawings, every layer of the building is a key element in transitioning the complex while preserving its identity and legacy.
