JASPER ARCHITECTS

PROJECT
HSH HOSTEL + OFFICES

Jasper Architects were commissioned to design the first two buildings in an urban development in Hohenschönhausen in Berlin, adjacent to the museum of the former prison operated by the East German Ministry of State Security (Stasi). The goal of the project is to create a point of entry into the neighborhood, and a dialogue with the historical context. The hostel component of the project is planned to be constructed entirely in wood.
