JASPER ARCHITECTS

PROJECT
NOWOGRODZKA

Jasper Architects were invited to the competition for
the reuse and extension of the first steel-frame building
constructed in Warsaw. The project, containing hotels,
housing, offices, and retail space, proposes a new urban
landmark while also opening up the historically significant
structure and introducing a grid of trees at ground level.
The building’s position on the site was defined through an
analysis of the flow of pedestrians in the surrounding urban
public space.
