JASPER ARCHITECTS

PROJECT
SUNSHINE CABIN

In the countryside on the outskirts of General Villegas, province of Buenos Aires, in a field of eucalyptus trees, lies this minimal refuge constructed entirely of wood. This prism of only 60 square meters is conformed of two covered surfaces, one small room, a tool shed, an exterior expansion with a grill and a terrace on the roof that offers unobstructed views of the endless plain of the pampa. To facilitate its construction and reduce the complexity in its displacements, a constant and repetitioned modulus was proposed, with pine wood as the structural material and timbó wood cladding. The interior is completely clad in MDF panels.
