Emphasizing private yet community-forward living, Riyadh Housing Complex is a contemporary reinterpretation of the region's traditional courtyard house concept. Structured around multiple courtyards, it draws inspiration from Saudi Arabia's diverse oases to create distinct internal atmospheres. The housing units, designed as stacked townhouses, are assembled to create a web of internal and external spaces — full of terraces, balconies, and tucked-away resting spots. A roof spans across the complex, echoing the protected atmosphere of traditional Middle Eastern structures. The ground floor includes a public zone, integrated seamlessly to create a lively interface between the private and public realms. Balancing tradition and modernity in the heart of Riyadh, the design creates a harmonious blend of privacy, community, and functionality.
